Description

Development, implementation and support into production automatic laser assembling, calibration and test data collection for the Pulsed Lasers department production

Essential Functions and Duties:
Ability to lead multiple development projects requiring rapid prototyping, setup for production and transfer.
Aid in the execution and validation of various automatic optical and mechanical tests in support of the company's pulsed laser manufacturing.
Develop and maintain software for the process and the test equipment used to build pulsed lasers. Adept at optical and mechanical designs, product component selection, and process development.
Hands-on engineer having excellent communication, analytical & problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate well within a team.

Requirements

BS or higher degree in Engineering
10+ years of Engineering experience
5+ years of experience with LabVIEW (CLAD, CLD, or CLA a plus)
Familiarity with electronic circuits, is preferred but not required
Proficiency with SolidWorks, Cadence OrCAD, Allegro and AutoCAD Electrical is highly desired
Experience with verbal and pictorial documentation of manufacturing processes
Excellent written and communication skills
Well organized with meticulous attention to detail
Mastery of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
